The aim of this essay is to critically discuss the integration of CALL in the ESL classroom with a specific focus on concordance-based vocabulary instruction. The essay explores CALL research on second language learning and suggests that CALL can enhance the quality of vocabulary teaching. The role of concordance-based method in vocabulary teaching is presented through the examination of empirical studies. Finally, pedagogical benefits of language corpora are being evaluated under the concept of Data Driven Learning (DDL)

For some children with learning difficulties, language and reading are areas of strength, but their nemesis is mathematics and quantitative learning (Johnson, 1998). Factors that play a role in mathematics learning include language, conceptual visual-spatial, and memory abilities according to (Johnson, 1998), but it must be remembered that each student is unique, and not all students who have mathematics problem will exhibit the same characteristics (Keogh and Babbitt, 1986).
